I've begun building a stash of fabrics for a Farmers Wife Quilt ... I'm finally planning a quilt for my bed - it's a King - hmm this could get expensive - shhh don't tell the husband!
I was originally going to do my Farmer's Wife quilt in just black and white fabrics - but I was talked out of that ...
These beauties are all from the Lily Ashbury range called High Street and were purchased from my local Quilt Shop Patchwork at Homespun - I love the fabrics they are filling their shop with at the moment - it's such a happy place to visit!
I'm hoping to mix it up with some navy blues ... what's your favourite navy blue fabric at the moment?
Sx
Oooh, I do love this range. I just wish my sister or SIL were having girls so I could use it! Well, my sister might still, they're keeping it a surprise.
ReplyDeleteNavy is quite popular right now. Waterfront Park has some nice basic navy blenders, Tsuru too.
Beautiful. I love your fabric choice. My favourite navy is Kona Solid. It's a lovely dark midnight colour. I really Koi fabric collection with one or two navy prints in there.
ReplyDeleteI love those fabrics. The colours are so vibrant. I'm using a lot of Kona Nautical at the moment. I really love the richness of it.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful fabric line! I must remember to get some if I see it at my LQS.
ReplyDeleteMmmm.... Fabric.... I can smell those beauties from here! Nice haul, Serena!
ReplyDeleteThese are going to be awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove your color and fabric selections. These will make a gorgeous quilt. Look forward to seeing your progress.
ReplyDeleteI saw a navy blue Japanese fabric charm pack at my local, it has a particular name but just can't think what at the moment (blame on feeding newborn lambs six times a day) - that would definitely be my favourite navy at the moment. Sadly it is still in the shop, and not in my craft room.
